I have been playing violin since I was in the sixth grade – nearly 20 years now! I played in my schools’ orchestras through middle and high school, advancing from concert orchestra to honors all the way up to first chair concert-mistress. My love of music and sharing that with others prompted me to major in music education my freshman year of college. Although I changed my degree and career path, playing violin has always been a hobby of mine, something I can do when I need to unwind or when I’m feeling particularly creative.

I’ve performed in multiple concerts, musicals, operas, and recitals, but by far my favorite event to play are weddings! It’s impossible to beat that atmosphere of love, anticipation, and hopefulness. I am so looking forward to joining many more couples on their joyful day!
